Is this some relative of the sun coral?
Is this some relative of the sun coral? Looks like, but it's not yellow. Hitchhiker on the scleronephthya rock, was white, now of this color:

Thanks.

Thank you for the ID! Still confused:
it is the UK coastal waters inhabitant, assuming the water temperature should be much colder, than we have in the reef tanks.
And what they are doing - this on the orange scleronephthya stone, and the pure white - a lot of them - on the sun coral rock? It is a totally different region. LFS never mentioned receiving shipments from Europe - only South Pacific and Florida farms.
Does anybody else has them, what to do, how to keep them in the best way?
The white on the sun coral rock was almost totally eaten by puffer, still comes to life now and then.
Is it an interesting coral, what in particular?

just by experiance Nepthyigorgia can sustain temp's down in the high 60's,(i dont know for how long tho) so if you have a pure chili coral tank, you may want to add the new coral to that,

I am sure they come from different areas. I have them and I know others have them. They are perfectly harmless. That was a uk based research I found I am sure they are in other places.
More info I found and this is more local

You don't need to do anything. I have never fed mine or anything. They won't harm your other corals.

Thank you! I see, that cup corals are different - not only Caryophyllia, but Balanophyllia as well. The good news - no special requirements
About the pure chili tank: what temperature should be there - lower, than usual 78F?
