I have had a 30 gal tank set up for about 6 months. I have a
hammer, some kind of polyps and a clarki--which I was told to get rid of.
My hammer has been in my tank for 4 months and was doing great-fully extended the size of a tennis ball. My clarki would always swim close to it. It has always shrunk up at night.
The last few weeks it stopped coming out. I thought maybe the clarki has gotten too big and now bothersome so I moved it.
Right before this happened I noticed lots of little "buds" growing on the stalk of the hammer. Any ideas of what that is?
