That is a healthy, beautiful and thick hammer.........and there is no doubt that they can be kept healthy and flourish under pc's....... BUT that thing could double or triple in size when open under more light.

I found the hammer likes to be at an angle. He wasnt opening when I had him in sand with polyps facing up, have move him back to the rockwork tilted with the polyps facing the front of the tank and has opened up again. My new tank has mh so I think I am going to move the lps to that tank and just keep softies in the 24 w/ pc lights.

I was gonna say move it onto the rock. My hammer and FS do better on the rock. My torch likes the SB.
