Frogspawn Lost Color

I have had a Purple tipped green frogspawn for about 6 months and it has lost its color for about 3 months now. I have moved it to different parts of the tank but it does not seem to be improving. It has lost its extension size (now about half its size when it comes out) and its a pale green with white tipps. What can i do to get this puppy looking good again?

The params would be pretty important. I know that when my alk was off for a while on my tank (cuz I wasnt paying attention) the color of my frogspawns went splat. Wierd, but true.
Once the alk was back in good form the color improved.

Also if you have phosphates or high nitrates they tend to get angry and lose color as well.

Have you ever tried hand-feeding it? I had a similar problem with a scoly, I hand fed it some lance fish several times a week and in a month it was a lot bigger & brighter. Try it out, it worked for me.
