I have 4 branches of frog spawn and 3 of the branches moved from the actual branch to a different part of my tank. is this normal?

Sounds like the Heads jumped ship ! thats no good ! some times they will grow back most often they will not make it . now if they have some Skeleton and are moved i have no idea !

That doesn't look good...I don't see any "flesh" in the first pic, from what I can see it looks like a goner, sorry! Also, loose "polyps" don't generally survive once they become detached. Has it been loosing polyps for a while? With healthy frogspawn you should not even be able to see the skeleton except maybe at the very base.
