I am trying to get mine to regrow the skeleton. It has on a couple of spots but not many.

If you look really close you can see the mouth. Actually mouths. Each polyp has a mouth. They are very clear on my red favia, the green not so much.

Okay, the first post seems to have disappeared. One more try.
Yes thats the favia, I didn't do any color correcting, see the pink sand! LOL Not a cuc it's a star that has been a good guy until the day before the picnic when he ate my gsp! Usually he just climbs over corals but he stopped on the gsp and poof they are toast. He has one last chance then he's going to a fowlr tank.

Now that yu mention it, I can see the feet under the rys... nice sea star, maybe that is what I need to get rid of the GSP in the main display...

If I knew ya needed a gsp exterminator I'd have brought him! I was so mad Saturday I started to throw him in the sump but was worried he'd end up in the mag 12 and crash my tank1!

Here is an update on my Fav. It has really taken off.. it now covers 2x the amount that it did.
