My perams are good I believe:
temp 77-79, though last night the temp dropped and I hit 76.4
salinity 1.025-1.026 with evaporation
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 5-10
pH 8.3
Ca 370 (dosed with essential elements by kent)

water flow was moderate in the area of FS, I would say he would gently wave in the current. Any thing else?

Alkalinity?
How often do you top off the tank?
How do you control the heat in the tank?

KH is 10.9, alk 3.89. I fixed the temp problem, just turned the heater up to 84 now it only dips to 78 at night and around 80 in daytime hours. I try to top off daily, if I think of it but more like every other day to be honest. The FS has completely died now, just the bleached exposed skeleton left. Yes, thats an astrial snail in the pic

Sorry about your frogspawn.

Salinity variations can be brutal on corals... Not sure if it was the issue but most likely that or torn flesh.

Thanks for the tips. Everything else is doing really nice. In fact, I had a blue mushroom that got torn off a couple weeks ago by what I think was a snail messing around on its rock. Its almost completely regenerated after a little over 2 weeks. All my other softies look good, lots of mushrooms and xenia growing like crazy. I was a little worried about the Frogspawn as it was my first attempt at LPS, but I have a small brain coral frag that looks good. Great color and its tentacles are always out feeding. Fish look good, too.
