Damaged Lobo brain coral

I recently was given a frag of lobo but its been broken down the middle and I havent been able to find any good information on how well LPS recover from skeletal damage. So I was wondering if anyone knew if it could recover from skeletal damage? Right now it is glued to some rock in a 2 gal nano aproximately 4 in away from PC coralife with low flow. the images show the front and back of the lobo the broken half is on the side with the reef plug in the image.

well nvm just got my info from reading through the forums right now it looks ok and apparently it repairs itself as long as I keep algae off it thanks this forum is awesome.

good job on the search. i would reccomend moving it to a lower light low flow region while it repairs itself. some gentle target feeding when the tentacles are out at night will help too.
