Yep like candycane....

Also let me add...
I know sometime you see a coral at the LFS you just "have to have"
Let me suggest you ID before you buy. One of these days you may get somthing your not able to support...

Also I would refrain from buying "damaged" corals.

There was a third head in that coral just recently died.
You can tell from the bright white skelton.
If is was old die off it would be turning greenish
That that it could be a significant issue. But with recent die off there could be a bigger problem with that coral.

That could be white because it was freshly fragged. Not necessarily damaged.
Duncans are extremely easy corals. They are fast growing, adapt to most lighting (PC, T5, VHO, MH), and tolerate all but the highest flow rates. Feeding is not a must, but if you want these guys to grow and proliferate, feedings of mysis or brine will work.

+1 on that info! I love my duncans! They were one of my very first corals and produced several new heads shortly after purchase. I have even fed mine soaked "dry" plankton and they seem to love it.
