They don't like very intense light, and low to med flow will keep them happy as well. They are very fun to watch eat, the one I had loved to eat squid chunks. However I rearranged my tank and i could not find a spot with low enough light to keep him happy.

Bingo, low light/flow and feeding.

I have had ZERO luck with green bubbles, but keep everything else. Coincidence? Maybe! Sucks either way. Mine is down to half and making a comeback.

I've had great luck with bubbles, even to the point I was able to do some fragging. Mine (green bubble) right now is under MH, although there is a ledge blocking most of the light to it.

You don't have to but i found that they thrive better with it. because of the low light they grow much slower if you don't feed.

All corals grow better with feeding. Plus with a lot of LPS it is just cool to watch

I would say a shaded spot in a MH tank or a SLightly darker spot in a PC or VHO tank. treat then like you do Zoos or Shrooms

I have a green bubble who has liked to be about 10" (24" tall tank) in the water w/ 250w MH's & 110w VHO's. He didn't like to be much higher as his bubles were much smaller as he'd get higher.

Also he is in a low flow area. Ever now and then I'll feed him but not very often.

need lots of shade, mine are bleeching in direct sun under 11k t-5's, trying to pry off the rock and won't budge, hes gunna have to figure it out on his own. ?? any suggestions? hes about 3" round fully receeded due to my trying to move him and about 6-8" extended, he still looks happy other than white area forming nearest to light (light setup for SPS) I would like to move him to a happy place.

one thing you can try is getting window screening and layering over the bubble. this will help him before he hurts him self or dies..
can you get a picture of him and the area that looks bad?

My old greenie under 250W 14K, slightly offset from the pendant (i.e., not right under it). I fed it mysis once/week.
