Should i leave my actinic light on 24 hours and then use the other bulbs for daylight?

I would have the actinics come on 1 hour before and 1 hour after the daylights

Ok, Ill have to get a new timmer. i just found a creature in my tank. It looks like a flatend eal not squish just stressed oval. Its the same color as the live rock. I would of never seen it but it spewd white stuff. It would pulse and white stuff came out. It had a tentical like a common white worm. Mabey an eye. Almost like a snail. When i get a camra ill take a picture, it looks like it would ripp skin of if i got to close. he seems to stay away from light after he was done spewing he went back inside my live rock. I think i might have seen one befor behind a filter. Mabey its a snail witout a shell???? Im afriad to get to close for fear he would bite...Espcialy after my bi colord blenny bit me earlier today.

possible you saw a stometella snail they have a tiny shell but mostly look like a slug. They are a good hitchhiker to have.

I googled it and it is a 70 percent chanche thats what i saw. hard to tell becuse i only seen the head and a tenical. I seek him out to get a good view. Thanks for that one now i know its not likly to ripp my finger off!
