Will my Brirdsnest be ok on the bottom?
I placed my bridsnest on the bottom of the tank last week just because I fould a "cool" place for it down there...
I have 2X 250W 14K hamilton MH, 10 hours a day. The tank is 21" deep...
So far it looks fine It had a bit more PE but may be actually more light down there. Before it was sitting on dark LR and now it's on bright sand wich is reflecting more light onto the coral.
What do ya think? Will it be ok down there?

yeah should be fine as long as it's getting enough flow.

Flow is good, good PE, but the tipps are a lil more white than usual. either minor bleachig from xtra light reflecting from the sand or a rapid growth period...

if you havent heard it enough ALREADY, yes its fine. and actually bottom placement will be more aesthetically plaesing and allow darting fish the benefit of it and its simply amazing at bottom placement. make sure its not in shadows of any kind or off to the side. if it gets straight light from the top to the bottom, priceless.

Give it a few more days and see if it colors up. If it does, then you know it was growth. If the bleaching continues, then you know it wasn't (you knew all that though ). It will be fine on the bottom though.
