Ive never had a problem finding and getting rid of gorilla crabs. Ive gotten a handlful of them or so and i simply smash them with my tweezers in the colony and pull them out. The acrocrabs would be easy to get out of there as well if you didnt care if they lived through it or not. lol

freshwater dipping is supposed to be different in many geographic areas, due to each local municipal water contents, some areas the water can be more harder than other, my local water has a strong odor of clorine, so that would definitly kill, instead of helping, so i usually dip with ro/di water or mix the two waters and that works pretty good, from corals to fish with ich..

Hypothetically, wouldn't freshwater dipping be the same everywhere if using distilled or RODI water lees than 5 ppm TDS?
