Tortuosa confusion

Just getting into acropora, got some nice frags from Seadreams in Wichita, KS recently, I was told they were from a local tank. Anyway, what is the deal with the oregon tort! There seems to be differnt names for torts. Ebay just had a Miyagi tort. What the heck is that? I know there are lots of acropora out there, but can someone explain the tort issue to me? I read this website article http://www.reeffarmers.com/limitedbeckertortuosa.htm and I've bought some frags from Jeremy before he opened his webstore at http://savethereefs.com/ he is from northern Kansas.

And is there anyone who has any frags for a newby to acro's tank? I'm in south central Kansas.

Valerie, I do think You frags are local one from Debbie. You met her at a meeting a few months back. Can't say for sure, I am pretty sure most the small frags are hers at Sea Dreams.

Vince, now that you said Debbie I think that is what Nathan said too. I just don't remember which lady she was. It was my first meeting and I met so many people. Hopefully I can hook up with her direct sometime for some frags. That would be great, I wonder if she would do that. If you know her would you pass my email to her? I did buy some like I said, but untill they start growing my tank has lots of room. I may have plenty of room anyway, not real sure about these acropora, from what I've read they never grow the same way twice in people different aquariums.

whats even funnier is i too bought corals from jeremy years back. he is no longer in the biz!
