check them out... I recommend the 150 gpd units due to their efficiency. Trust there will be a time when you need more than 35-50 gpd for makeup water...

I would also recomend PWC 150 gpd system. I have one and am pleased with it performance.

I will admit I had one blowout but it was not due to inferior workmanship as much as operating outside of the design envelope. I had a coldwater line ice up on a unified outlet. To I ran 90 degree water through the system for like 20 minutes This caused a waterline to come off when the plastic softened. I believe this would have happened with any system. The membrane survived an continues to run about 3-4 TDS.

As far as needing to replace the whole unit in 5 years, I read that in the instructions as well. It is made out of plastic and maybe it will. I will cross that bridge when I cross it.

Jeremy, from reading, the 5 year recommendation isn't because of the unit itself. Its because of the cost of the membranes. Its cheaper to replace the unit than replace all the membranes. So, they suggest you replace the entire unit.
