place to buy farmed coral

what are good places to buy farmed acropora? I don't want to buy any from the wild. I'm just starting out in acropora and want to try to do it right the first time around....

Or this if you're looking for frags: http://www.frags.org/

But honestly, most online places sell aquacultured stuff now, as well as aquarium raised frags. Just watch the prices. It's easy to get trapped into buying "named" frags for a ridiculous amount of money when you can get it elsewhere for much less. Do you have a local reefkeepers club?

www.reefermadness.us also has aquacultured items. I just placed an order with them tonight and I will be glad to post pics when they arrive Tuesday. I THINK this is where Casey got his avatar pic from...he's kinda covert about his aquiring methods ...and I'm guessing that it was NOT on sale or from any 'bargain' section...

I have bought several from extreme corals. Reef science and dr. mac sells them also. I am actually happiest with frags I bought from a semi-local (to me) reefer.

another great coral farming place is Dr Macs (I think they're now known as Pacific East Aquaculture). Been there in person...over half my frags are from there...AMAZINGLY healthy specimens.

http://www.pacificeastaquaculture.com/

Never ordered from them on-line...only in person, so I have no inpu on that. But I've seen them baggin' stuff for on-line sales...and they're VERY careful and seem to pack things up pretty good.

Worth a look.
