I have a frag that has four branches on it and one of the branches (in the middle) is straight up dead. The rest of it is opening up and seems fine. Any thoughts?

It would be safe to sa it's not diseased, since we don't see much SPS diseases making their way into the aquarium; unfortunatly always a possibility.

I would vote for being burned since it's on the top part of the branches. May also be slight RTN.

i am in the thoughts of RNT , i dont really belive you can "burn" corals.. they way they grow and livein the oceans, how many are exposed to much morte light then we can really give them..

okay off the box....
can you get a clearer picture?

I have a pink birds nest that is doing great. Inside the colony, the coral often dies from a lack of flow penetration. So when you fag a pink birdsnest you often get a white base.
