and this is a pic of it getting direct sunlight from the open door with only the actinics on, wow its never looked like this till now with the door open in the morning. the blue from the lights are sooooo much bluer now that the water is cleaner than i thought it was before lol.. working on full tank pic for ya'll in the other post.

I just took the advise from these fine people, kicked up my skimmer to pull faster, doing a little larger waterchanges 25 percent each time now, and added more powerheads for more flow
It cleaned up within a couple of weeks. everything started perking up fast.

Nice growth, I find that larger and more frequent water changes do the best for me with growth.

This is the perfect fix for stony reeftop corals, add good calcium and alk and appropriate light and photoperiod length and they'll grow like weeds.

I have to ask since I'm still a little baffled about SPS. Why is it that these corals turn brown? From the original colour of course.
