This guy that i got these from had like a growing operation for all the rare montis especially the sunset. He had about 6-8 SOFTBALL sized colonies and about 6 1" + frags it looked awesome

Nope thats wat they are, I was the mother colonies and the eges of my rainbow are now orange. I thought so too but thats what they are. A sof now my rainbow has lost that deep blue color and it turning brownish, my superman is not a blue... I just put new bulbs in on weds so well see what happens. Im really getting irritated cuz i think they are turning brown cuz the phosphates are too high, Im buying an RO/DI asap. Like this weekend.

Don't take this the wrong way, but as much funds as you're sinking into boutique corals I think you'd be better off investing in hardware to ensure that your tank is capable of sustaining such coral. Once the tank is in good shape (negligible po4 readings, to begin with), then it would be time to start shopping for great stony corals to put in it.

Yes.. If you are having issues with your tank it doesn't make much sense to put a bunch of designer corals in it. They will just loose coloration and take a long time to color back up once you dial in your tank. Either that or they can croak on ya.
