need help

so im doing research but still confused on what to suplement sps corals i thought keeping calcium, magnesium, alkanity in line was all but then read about dosing with vodka, or frutose. can someone clear this up; what all do you dose?

Just a complete balance of Alk, cal and mag.. al th other stuff is just frilly overly sweet topping that you will scrap in the end.

Stick to the basics...

Alk: 8-9 dkH
Cal: 380-420
Mag: 1275-1350

That'll do it for you as long as you have good husbandry practices...

i dose very little. frequent water changes will keep a lot of your levels up. i do a 25 to 30 percent water change every saturday and i only have to buffer about once a week and i usually do a small calcium dose the next day. i am not loaded down with sps but i have a heavy clam load.
