Not sure what exactly it is, but it looks beautiful. Probably one of the encrusting montis.

danae is the generic first guess, but it could be any one of a bunch of others as well.

If you are looking for a name other than scientific....not sure. I dont recognize it. It does look like it wants a little more light though and it could be super sweet.(not that it isnt nice as is). That body color could possibly go a couple of different much brighter color directions actually, as could the polyps.

As long as you like it and don't have a problem with what you paid for it, then all is good. That monti is definitely worth a try to see what it turns into at that price.

Is that really that high for that ric. I mean i dont know how much NICE rics go for.. All i know is the YUMA is like $150 and up. I figure that with the monti and ric its a good deal at $40 for the 2

That could be considered a rainbow one I think, so it is not an excessively high price. In fact it may be a good price after an ad I saw today that wanted $30 for a plain green one.

its either a rainbow or a pokerstar. too soon to tell until the new growth spreads. the new growth on a pokerstar is that color. a rainbow has some of that color spaced throughout.
