monti cap lost some flesh

My oldest frag of a monti cap seems to have lost some tissue/flesh after I had trouble with a salinity spike while on vacation. The bare skeleton areas have a slight algae fuzz on them and the polyps are not as extended as before. Any ideas on what I should do?

no significant algae growth on glass or rocks

That coral also looks very bleached out to me. If it were me I would move it into an area with about half the light it's getting now to help it recover, then as it gets it's color and pylops back you can try acclimating it back where you watn it.
