lace corals

anybody have info on lace corals? I've googled and found one site that states they aren't corals at but are zooids that are incase in a hard skeleton.
It seems like they are non-photosynthetic and I'm wondering if anyone has had success in keeping them and what conditions they keep them in?

Thanks

They are listed as endangered on the CITES list, probably not a wise choice to get one.

I got a purple one that is a hitch hiker on my sun coral. I haven't done anything for it I do know they have very very tiny clear tentacles that is hard to see. They are a hard coral. I have had mine about 6-8 months now and it is a slow grower. I have touched mine nothing happened but they are very fragile they break easy

Ironically, Montipora is listed as an Appendix II coral as well, with it being "vulnerable". I wonder if people are discouraged from keeping Montipora as well? Granted, it is allowed to be harvested/exported at a rate 4.5 X the rate of Stylaster but I wonder what the demand is for Montipora versus Lace Corals?
