T5 bulbs may be able to sustain anything if it's a good fixture with individual reflectors. What do you like?

If it were me,.. for a first SPS I would go with a Moti cap,.. Keeping SPS is more than lighting, so it will help you tune your water perams in and not be as sensitive as some of the other corals.

i usually float them to come up to temperature, then just give them a bath (~10 minutes) in some tank water with TMPCC, followed by a QUICK rinse in RO/DI water, then put them in a low light area of the tank for a few days.
seems to work for me.

Monti cap vote.
BUT... I have this acro that's green and brown, I've just about poisoned my tank with a rust drip a while back and it lived. The only SPS to live actually, I lost some nice ones
