Easy sps.

After I finish my build, I would like to try my hand at some easy sps. I have a 15g aquarium 10g sump, 70W MH, 700gph return with an Ocean Motions 2-way. What sps would you think would be compatible with this setup and what supliment could I use because I won't have a calcium reator or anything? What about some montipora? Thanks

Montipora would be great to start off with,.. either cap or digi. For such a small tank I would just go out and buy two part,.. there is a CA and an Alk part,.. then you can take readings and figure out how much to add to keep your levels where you want them using the reef chemistry caculator.

I'm a noob with sps too. So far, I'm doing well with a red milliepora and an electric green pocillopora(sp?) I dose B-ionic 2 part, but there are several good brands out there.

Ditto to all of the above - 2 part supplement, monti cap and digitata, and birdsnests.

It is, of course, a relative term. Most people would agree that within the world of sps corals, some are easier to care for than others.

Monti's are supposedly the easiest (then again Zoa's are supposed to be easy to care for as well...but i for some reason have trouble with them  )

Yeah, I really love the montis and have always wanted some. I think I can get a pretty good deal on the sps so why not have a try? Thanks

I would also say montipora...either a cap or a digi. They are fairly hardy sps corals.
