Does this look like a Superman??

I just won these frags on ebay the "superman" montipora for $56 and the "Purple Haze" montipora for $26. The guy says its a superman montipora but i havent seen a superman that looks like this. I also won a purple haze from him too. Do these look what what he says they are?? I thought supermans had really defined bumps or ridges??

You'll have to define what you mean by "superman." Does it look like the tyree LE superman? No. Is it red and blue? Of a sort, yes. If you like it, buy it, and don't worry about what it's called. If you're worried about lineage, don't shop on eBay.

Pretty much sums it up in a nutshell.

I mean other supermans. I know it doesnt look like the tyree superman cuz the tyree has orange polyps and massive extension. I dont know why he calls it a superman if its not RED and BLUE. If you google superman montipora you see many supermans that have blue bases with red polyps. (not orange). But most supermans that are online have lots of little ridges with the polyps within the ridges. There are many different supermans not just the Tyree cuz im sure he doesnt have the only superman on the planet. I guess when i say superman i mean blue base with red polyps but like i said mostly all the supermans ive seen have ridges and bumps with the polyps within the ridges not smooth like the one i got. I want a Tyree superman but im waiting on tony. I know thats the OG of supermans but the only reason i dont see it being a real superman is cuz superman doesnt have any orange on him. LOL Only red and blue so i guess any encrusting montipora with a blue base and RED polyps would be considered a superman but like i said i havent seen any that look like this. And Tone i wasnt gonna buy this at first when we spoke about it but ive decided i just want to have a couple different supermans including the OG so i can determine witch one "I" like best. To eachs own right?

That's right bro... it's all in what you like. I have several unnamed corals in my tank, and they all are nice...Like what was said before, find whatever you like and pay a fair price for it.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
