You definitely want to make sure it is glued in place very well.

Not bad, it just packs a powerful punch. If allowed to touch other corals it will cause a large amount of damage quickly.

It has sweepers also. Be sure to allow plenty of room around this coral or keep it down "wind" of other corals. Sweepers can't really fight current very well.

Hydnophora is considered one of those hard to categorize corals. To me, it is more like an LPS instead of an SPS coral.

I'd have to agree fully on that... also, that looks more like the branching Hydnophora that doesn't have the sweeper tentacles and doesn't pack much of a sting at all. I've got the same exact type in my tank, and it's taken a beating from several things including Anthelia and a Hammer Coral.

It's more of a Branching LPS....
I'm lucky. Min have never in over a year extended sweepers and I keep it fairly close 2" from other SPS

I have the branching form, and have had it for about 6 months, and have never once seen a single sweeper tentacle.
It will sting the holy crap out of anything it touches.
