It's the same as any other Seriatopora (birdsnest) It's just ORA's "name" if you will, just like Red Planet..etc. The coloration is pretty much the only difference.

Indeed, it's not an acropora, but seriatopora species. I've got a number of them in my setup that do pretty well.

Bird of Paradis is a nice green base with purple polyps. Very fast grower.

for whatever reason , mine has lost the green base (now its beige) and if kept out of heavy flow......it just looks purple due to pe.
