after interceptor treatment....

how long after the interceptor treatment would it be safe to add shrimp and crabs? its been a couple weeks now, my cb shrimp lived but all other crustacians are mia. id like to put in a cleaner shrimp and a couple emerald crabs. ive been running carbon through a reactor and doing 10% weekly waterchanges since the treatment.

I think they say after the 30% water change then most crustaceans should be fine. IF you've performed a couple water changes, I think you'd be safe.

I don't know. I used Interceptor about 3 weeks ago and used carbon and did a 20% water change and still ended up killing a shrimp yesterday when i added it. Not sure if it's due to interceptor or not, but it's making me think.

The skimmer should also remove interceptor.

yea the mr2 has been chugging away since the treatment also. i love that skimmer!

I loved mine too,.. I just wish it didn't need such a big pump to run it.
