sorry for the long pause in posting. its been totaly nuts for both bill and i. there has not been alot done to the tank lately because the house needs to be bottoned up and heat running so bill can start the work on the tank. it needs to be surfaced and preped for the epoxy paint to be applied to it. then the front pannles can be set into place. here is some pics bill sent me of the house. its getting bigger all the time. also for you car guys here is a couple more of bills collector cars for his new garage.
also there may be some changes inthe future for this system. the current plan for 4-5 24" diam skimmers that are 7 ft tall may have changed to 2-12 ft tall skimmers that are 36" in diam. i am working with bill to see if we can design a skimmer that will do what we want them to do. this is no ordnary system and bill will have such a huge bio load that the skimmers will need to be super effecient to keep up with the needs of the system. everything is still up in the air yet and bill is taking things one step at a time. so these skimmer sizes may change again before the tank ever sees water.

As efficent as those skimmers are ozone probably won't be neccesary. I have a VOLCANO which is the same as the beast bill is making and it easily keeps my ORP in the required range without ozone. A probperly skimmed tank can easily go without the addition of ozone. The amount he would need to be effective on his tank could also be deadly to his family if anything happened to the generator and the ozone escaped into the house.

That is going to be awsome. You are seriously going to be swimming in the tank to do any maintenance. Is it in the basement?
