Thanks cath! Let's keep plowing through...

The next day, I decided I didn't like the aquascaping above, so I redid it like this....

Greg,

What a awsome tank and thread. I cant believe I havn't seen this before. It takes alot to decide to intergrate a system like this into your overall house. You have done a fantastic job. Must be getting alot of support from the family on this one.

Love what you did with the rock formations.

Please keep use all up to date on the pics.

It takes a little getting used to, but it's a lot better once you do.

I thought I was being clever by cutting the starboard the exact size of the bottom of the tank. Don't do it. Leave at least 3/4" all the way around to prevent this....

Here's what I used one of my extra drain's for. I use it any time I need water out of the tank. I can also hook a hose to it for water changes.

Here's some shots with some corals added and the lights in their final positions. Most of the coral has been kept in my growout tanks for over a year now waiting for this project to be completed.

Super nice setup, Greg! Those are great dimensions for a tank.
Interested to see how it grows in (or out, if you prefer)

I'm going to use the new forum as an excuse to finish this thread.
