Thanks Here's some more:

Here's the sump running with the iwaki 100


That's about 2000 gph


John at Fish and other Icthy Stuff built me a brace to help prevent the sump from bowing while it's full.


At this point I was still deciding whether to run with filter socks or not. The pipes are way too deep in the sump, but that will all get worked out later...


I moved the returns to the other side of the tank so they are now pointing towards the overflow. Why the bricks? Starboard floats.

I was gonna ask about how high your water level is in the sump - I've never seen any as full as that before, so it looks kinda scary to me. Also, why do you have the starboard in the sump? (I thought sb was mainly in glass displays so falling rock wouldn't crack the glass?)
