Ok, I'll finally provide an update about the tank. I know I've been remiss, and I apologize.

I haven't had a lot of time to do much with the tank, so I've removed most of the corals. I never did stock it with fish, I put a few in and lost a couple so I've had one fish for the last year or two. In this huge tank.

But as Gary eluded to in his post I am going to be stocking the tank with fish soon. A friend of mine is shutting down his tank and I'm going to take his stock. I'll be going from under-stocked to bursting at the seams. But it will be nice to have something to look at again.

As for the system itself, thank God the design was sound and worked well. I bet I haven't spend 10 hours on the tank in the last year. It completely runs itself. I'll be doing a good cleaning and equipment maintenance before I add the fish. I'll snap some pics when it's all done.

Most of the fish were hand collected. I helped with a few of them.

It's still running great. Other than cleaning the pumps once a month and cleaning the skimmer weekly it's pretty maintenance free. I've given away or sold most of the coral. There are still a few pieces in there, but it's really just a fish tank now. Live is so much simpler, it cost 1/2 as much to run the tank, and it's just as enjoyable.
