Lights

Are 4 x 250 MH 14k enough for a 24 x24 x72" tank I want to keep clams and a mixture of soft and sps

I think 3 is fine as well in that tank........i run 3-250's on my 225 and there is no lack of light. I would recommend saving the money and extra heat caused and just get good reflectors for the 3 you do run

Thank You all, I probably would have done 3 except for this 14" wide glass brace in the center top lip where the middle bulb would have been. So I put two evenly spaced on each side, and a 6" fan that is on the same timer as the lights
