Any tank that I could have in my house that involved getting in and diving to clean it is alright with me! I am trying to figure out how to start a public non profit aquarium just so I could do this very thing! I just started my MBA in non-profit fundraising and marketing to see about getting the project off the ground.

Wow no salt. What a waste. If that was a reef it would be awesome. Or a rely good shark tank. What size skimmer would he need? My cousin was thinking of a tank like that. He was going to have a door he could open in the floor so he could go fishing. Then he got married.

i heard a few years ago from a friend who mentioned of a doctor in west virginia who built a large salt water tank in his house. it supposedly was the size of a bedroom. has anyone ever heard of this guy or is it an urban myth or i guess in this case a country myth.

Better link:
http://www.spitfirechallenge.ca/buil...%2050k%20+.htm

Mr 4000 took down his tank for several reasons:
His wife didn't know what he was building at 1st ...oops
No plan to eliminate/control the humidity
This started to cause problems in the house so the tank went
It was located in the basement, cement walls w/8' viewing pane

That was a small tank compared to others that are out there
There is a cylindrical tank that extends thru 3 floors of a house
