Getting to the bottom of it . . .
Hello,
So I have water flowing in my 250 gallon tank. I have put in an acrylic spike system with little 1/2" acrylic rods every 3" across the bottom to hold the live rock up . . . nice black sand comes thursday. Live rock should be arriving in about a week and a half . . .
But my tank is an odd size. Its 48" long, 24" wide, and 48" deep. I'm looking for ideas on how you all over the years have literaly gotten to the bottom of your tanks. When plumbing some bulkheads I literaly just climbed into the thing. Even if the top of teh tank wasn't 6' off the floor I still couldn't just lean into it - my arms aren't that long.
I got a pair of tongs from Dr's foster and smith online that I think will help, but I'm looking for input from you folks. anyone with similiarly deep tanks?
Nate
