Finally Lo's 150 gallon build thread!

Ok finally I get to build a large system and post in the "large systems" thread!
I have just recently aquired a 150 gallon 2 x 2 x 5 glass aquarium and stand. I have been working on the system for about a week and a half now and haven't really had time to start this thread but here it goes. My my plans are
Lighting : 4 x 96 watt pc and 2 x 175 watt mh.
Sump:I"m actually tying 3 tanks together for the sump. I have an acrylic 15 gallon, an acrylic 25 gallon, and I have a 10 gallon aga that will be my fuge.
Return = 2 x sealine 6530 pumps for about 1100 gph (with head)
Flow I will use various powerheads and pumps including 3 aquaclear 600 gph pumps and a seio 1200 gph
Substrate = dolomite sand .17 to 1.7 mm. (dolomite = lime)
Calcium reactor = lifereef 6 inch x 18 inch with a mag 3 for circulation
skimmers = CSS 125 and pci ps2000 (already have them and both perform pretty good.)
Here are a couple of pics of the canopy being built.

my dog is guarding against anyone who would wanna take my canopy or neighbors complaining about noise

While my wife was taking these pics she decided to be funny.

What reflectors are you planning on for the MHs? One issue to consider is the amount of gph going through the sump. With that much you will need some extra overflow capability and I'm not sure that the tanks for the sump set up will handle that much flow without pushing micro bubbles to the display. I have a 55 for a sump on my 150 and push around 800 gph through the sump. My baffles are 2 inches apart and I don't think I would want any more flow through than I have. Plus running two skimmers may make the bubble issue even more of a potential problem. Just a thought.
Oh and I recommend the Lumenarc reflectors. I run them on mine and they are great!

with the pump issue, I may just go with one of them. With my sumps I'm sorry I should have mentioned that they are prefab sumps with built in baffles. I'm aware of the microbubbles issue as I have just broken down a 50 gallon with a big friggin skimmer in a very small sump. on and it's only going to be about 800 gph with head

This is my plan for the tank and sumps. I have decided I would go with a cls since I have my reeflo snapper. I know I will need more flow than that but it will give me a start.

Double the intakes for the CLS and use one size up from what the pumps intake is.

I voted "Ur a moron" and I had read the thread. Mostly just to annoy him because he made it an option

Rustoleum primer on them. Then paint them with the canopy, then a floor grade polyurethane (Minwax) and they won't have an issue rusting. Same with the screws in the blocks in the canopy. If the inside of the canopy is painted white for light reflection, you can paint over everything then urethane it all and not have issues.

I think we need to send the update cops to bust mylo though. Just don't ask me for updates on mine.....
