shipping is not unreasonable for some of the businesses I've got quotes from... often the end item will be cheaper than what you'll find locally. If you're looking for custom glass, consider Miracles in Glass, AGE, Aquarium Obsessed, and even Oceanic will do custom work. For a tank that size, however, I'd expect to be paying at a minimum $2k for a simple setup.
