180g build in planning process

Hello, I'm new here so have patience.
I'm in the planning process to up size my 75g reef into a 180g AGA RR, I think. Bigger is better right. I have already accumulated some equipment from the 75g I would like to re-use, but I would like some opinions...
-Right now on the 75g I run two 110w VHO and two 175w MH. That's 570w total, 7.6w/gallon. I can use the Icecap 660 ballast to run three 60 inch 140w VHO and I plan to get a 250w MH. That's 1020w total 5.7w/gallon. Will this be enough light to keep LPS and some SPS on very top, and some softies down low?
-I wanted to run a CLS with a Hammerhead, and run the sump, skimmer, and refug with the Snapper. How does that sound? Is the Snapper to small, should I go with the Dart?

I would go with the dart for the pump. As far as watts per gallon there is really no such thing its about par rating. On my 180 I have 3 250 watt mh and 8 3' vhos. With the skimmer I would get the biggest one you can afford.
