Okay, found this guy crawling around my tank. He's pretty big and brown. What is it? Should I take it out?

He doesn't have a shell though...does that still make him a snail? Yeah, there are probably others, but this is the first I've seen it. And it's pretty big.

Next time you see it look real closely, they have just a small shell on their back and its the same color as their body. I don't think these guys can retract into their shell like other snails. Its more like a helmet.

Okay, so I saw him again. This time I can see the shell clearly, it's actually pretty big. It looks like a mussel shell, and the snail is brown and hairy. Does that describe a stomatella?

He kinda looks liek this, but the shell is a bit different, and his body is very hairy. I took a picture of him, haven't loaded on my computer though, but I doubt it came out clear. I'll try and post it later though.
