I got my BEAUTIFUL RBTA from "coralbeauty", Connie about 2 months ago. You might check with her, hers are splitting all the time and they are healthy with absolutely beautiful color. Mine has stayed in the same spot since the day I got it. I feed it silversides about evey 3 days and it is doing great.
HTH,
Jenni

You are right Charles about it being beautiful. In fact I have never seen any with more beautiful color than Connies. Mine is stunning and is growing like crazy! I am so happy since I had 2 in the 29 that never made it. guess I tried too early and didn't have the lighting that I now have in the new tank.

It has probably tripled in size since this picture taken April 24.

Thank you Charles and Jenny for the compliments. I do love my roses. I have lost track of the number of splits that I have had - I know it is well over 30 in the past 5 years. The color is also great becuase they are so bright red/orange. They also seem to thrive well under various light and conditions. I now keep them under 250 MH, but I have had them under PC and VHO only with good success. I do have one for sale. The rose is good sized, 5ish inches across. It split about three weeks ago and is doing great. I nomrally sell them for $40.
I also did some tank redesign and I have several large frags of bright green hydronephora and orange plating montipora. I would love to trade for other sps frags, colorful mushrooms, zoos or sell the frags for $5 to $10.
Thanks again,
Connie
PS: Jenny - I loved the photo of your baby. I always feel like the grandmother or something of the rose babies. We do need to plan a date to get together and go to Advanced in Salem or soemthing! I redid the bowfront and you should stop by and see it.

Hey Connie!
Good to see you are around! I just LOVEEEEE my Rosie! You should see how big she has gotten! That pic was the day we brought her home... I put her where you see her in the picture and the next morning she had moved to where she has stayed ever since. She just loves to eat the silversides I give her and we all get such a kick out of watching her completely envelope them.
I would love to get together, now that school is out life is a little simpler, thank goodness! I would also love to see your tanks and may even be interested in some of your frags. The monti cap you gave is has almost doubled in size, so I guess I am doing something right! LOL
Call me when you have some free time... I'll PM the number.
Jenni
