powerheads like to swim

does anyone have any tricks to keep theyre powerheads in place? the suction cups stay stuck for a day at best and then they release and blow water whever they feel like it, (usually into straight onto a rock or into the sand).

What type of PH's are you using?

I normally use maxi-jets; I clean the area where they are to be attached to, and I cleaned the suction cups and they hold remarkably well for me.

Superglue them to a cheapo magnetic algae scrapper. You can get one at walmart for like 3-4 bucks.

If you want your maxi-jets to almost never move, you could use the attachment that mounts over the tank and has only one suction cup. That way is the suction cup ever lets go, the PH wont go for a swim because it is hooked over the top of the tank.

If that doesn't work I really like impur's solution:

Impur's quote "Superglue them to a cheapo magnetic algae scrapper. You can get one at walmart for like 3-4 bucks."
