Plumbing Help!

So, i finnaly started my plumbing last night, and I ran into a few problems....

It seems like my overflow works too fast for my pump.. is this possible? Why does the water gain so fast in my sump? I need to re-plumb my return line with a ball valve, but thats no problem.

My overflow has a 1" bulkhead, so I plumbed the downline with 1" pvc.

For the return, I currently have a sen 7 set up with 3/4 inch return line, that t's into two 1/2" returns... is this causing me troubles??

Someone HELP!

What is happening? Is it flushing like a toilet? You may want to looking a "durso stand pipe" do a search, you should find several good articles on the matter. HTH

once the water equalizes with the level of your bulkhead or your overflow box, no more water than comes in can rush out. if your sump is flooding you have 3 options. run your sump lower and top off more often, raise your outlet level, or increase the size of your sump. pump capacity and drain line size will not effect the flow in that manner.

post some pics so we can troubleshoot!
