Cool

Picnic!

Hi All!

Mojo has invited us to have the picnic in his neck of the woods this year It will be our chance to drool over that tank of his and have a great time.

The date is August 3rd. The exact location for the official shindig will depend on what kind of RSVP we have; if we get over 50-60, we may be looking at a large park close by. Several of the main board TRT'ers are expressing interest in coming from out-of-town so this is going to be a blast!

Please post here if you're thinking about joining in the fun so that we can get an idea of how many to expect. Families and spouses welcome, SeaFair is going on in Seattle during that time so there will be plenty to do in the area!

Woo-hoo! Thanks, Mike

Alice

Sounds like a grand time up in Seattle. Sorry I will not be able to attend as we are expecting our second child during that weekend.

I was even looking forward to seeing Mojo's tank up close and personal and finally meeting someone I keep hearing his name whlie at DSG.

I can see why you might not want to travel that weekend Jim! Although second babies have been known to come early

Actually, that weekend is a week early than the expected date from our Dr. But the wife did say that if the baby comes, I can leave the house for the weekend if I take our little boy with me. So maybe.

Smile

We'll be there (barring unforseen circumstances such as getting a job...

Any chance of having the picnic at a site where we could camp?

Hey folks sounds like we are going to have a great time. I live just south of Seattle (about 25 miles ) In sumner. We live on 2 acres so thier is a bit of camping space right at the house. We will have to see how many folks are into camping, I will check out the local area in case thier to many of us crasy reefers (but I dought it). We live on lake Tapps with about 200 feet of waterfront, its great for swiming, fishing, water skiing (and yes the boat will be in and ski/tubes ready for the brave) we have a dock with slide if kids do come. We are part of a community and we are trying to make arrangements to rent what they call the Island, it has 2 big barbi pits and picnic tables.

here is a pic of the Lake
