pickling lime

anybody know where to get pickling lime in the san francisco bay area? walmart stuff is tainted with spices.

any thoughts about using the calcium hydroxide at ace hardware?

i found it at Fred Meyer by Ball. was a 1.63 for a huge can, its in the canning sec!.
