Paging Impur!

How did everything fare after we left you this morning? Got everything scrubbed clean and back in the tank?

It was fun hanging out with both of you. And thanks for the ric and shroom! Bonus for me! Happy settling into your new house!

Thanks for all the help you guys, i couldn't have done it without you.

Phew what a day, i finally finished up the light hanger at 9:30 last night. So that made it a little over a 12hr day for me. I'm beat, my back hurts, my legs are sore, my hands are raw from all the saltwater..........i know quite being a baby LOL

So i started getting everything back in the tank, had about half the LR in that did not have corals on it. Then i started dumping in some water. Well remember how my RO topoff water was in a white bucket too? Yup, i dumped that whole bucket of cold RO water into the tank. Kept doing my thing, adding corals and rock. Didn't figure it out for about an hour or hour an a half. I almost crapped my pants!! I couldn't figure out why everything looked so bad in the tank, but looked ok in the bags. The water was also unusually cold. Well i added 2 heaters, mixed up some extra salty salt water and added it to the tank. Finished gluing all the frags and placing corals and as of last night everything appears fine. Doesn't look like i'll lose anything. I'm amazed, didn't we have a conversation about losing corals due to just a few degree temp change? Well the temp was down to 70 for a few hours and still everything is fine.

But i do need to make some space so i'm heading to Seans with some frags to trade in. You guys want one of those green monti digi frags i have? Let me know and i'll keep one for ya.

Also big thanks to Cuda for the suggestion on how to mount the hanger for my light. I'll get a few pics tonight, it worked out better than i thought, even looks decent too.

Just got done checking the tank out for the first time in a few days with the halide on. Everything looks good, most of the SPS have good PE, LPS were all out and zoos look just fine.

Thanks again for helping me!

You're welcome! We had fun! And you can whine all you want! Moving a tank is hard work! Even if it is a little tank! I'll bet your hands are absolutely thrashed from being in saltwater all day.

I'm glad everyone is fine after their cold water bath! At least now you know you've got hardy specimens in your tank! Is your acan doing good? Not too crabby from the move?

You'll have to take pics once everything is settled and happy so we can all see how things look. And I'll bet Sean was happy to see a bunch of frags walk through the door! Thanks for the offer on the green monti frag... but we have two of the greens, two of the orangey ones, two of the Idaho grapes. I'm going to start calling Jay's tank the "Montipora Forest". He bought two more digi frags from Upscales last night. Sheesh!

I could hardly move when we transfered the contents from the 72 to the 240. It was a long day. Glad to here your coral is doing well. Time to get that 55 up and running.
