Interesting, I never noticed loverotties uses UV to light his tank....

i am currently running 500 plus watts of pc in a 72 gal bow front and if i could just add one more thing sorry all you steeler fans lol

Why different lighting? Many reasons MOST acros need Halides for intensity BUT it must be in the right SPECTRUM so VHO's get added. SOME acros actually do better in VHO than Halides but IME mvery few fit into this category ( Hence the different color temps tried) Also the tank depth matters and the type of Corals Mushrooms and Polyps in a nano Don't need halides Acros in a 32" deep tank Probably would :-) Paul
