NEED TRUE 3/4" Bulkead HELP!!

Hey everyone,

I am in dire need of a 3/4" Bulkead. A TRUE 3/4" Bulkead. Does anyone have one? Or, Where can I get one? Please help me out.

Most 3/4" bulkheads have a larger outer diameter than a TRUE 3/4"

Have you checked with Woody? I know they have bulkheads there.

well, the number represents the ID, so you will never find a 3/4" bulkhead with a 3"4" OD. A bulkhead with a 3/4" OD will be smaller thatn 3/4" on the ID.

or maybe i'm just lost...lol

not sure what hole dimension you are looking for, but i have a 3/4" thread X thread bulkhead that requires a 1 7/16" - 1 1/2" hole. hopefully you live on the east side though, cause i am car-free and you would have to come pick it up if this is the size that you are looking for. i have the bit for it somewhere if you need it (assuming you are drilling acrylic).

I was confused before I figured out what I had, no worries. Here's the issue. I have a 3/4" bulkhead that requires a smaller diameter hole drilled than a normal 3/4" Bulkead. Some tank manufacturers use the smaller diameter with tanks they make that include an overflow. I have a small 3/4" bulkead. Take a look at a normal bulkhead. on the threaded side, the sidewalls are pretty thick, and the hole you need to drill is a lot bigger than the actual pvc size of the bulkhead. Mine has thin sidewalls, making the hole needed to be drilled a lot smaller. HOPE YOU GUYS FOLLOW MY NONSENSE..

it is pretty easy to enlarge the hole if it is acrylic, you just need a piece of wood and either a clamp, or a second set of hands. we did this on some tanks for woody last weekend, i am now a pro at it
