Power Outage -
In light of the current weather I would like to know what people's plan for back-up power is and what should be on in case of an outage for a few hours to a few days. I was hoping someone could say a few words on this topic tommorrow.

If you have a small amount of power to put toward your tank in an outage, I would run the sump pump and a heater. If your water temp drops a little and slowly, it slows the metabolic rate of your critters and increases the O2 capacity of the water. They can go without lights for several days(like during shipping and handling) but some heat and circulation will keep everything alive. R2
