James, have you looked in www.hirocks.com Krux and I got some a year or so ago, and really like it. We got some pretty good size pieces and some smaller pieces as well. When we got it, it was about $65 for 50lbs including shipping.

yeah I saw Hirocks.com but they are currently sold out LOL... All they have is there flat rock that looks pretty bad... Checked with Reeferrocks.com as well but they seem pretty spendy... hirocks.com is supposed to get some more in Nov 15th But I would like it sooner than that if possible LOL..

I got about 30 or 40 pounds of liverock that I removed from my tank and "cured" in the sun for a few weeks. It is nice and white now. Its mainly fiji and marshall Island stuff. You're more than welcome to come take a look at it and I'll give ya a pretty good deal. Let me know.

Thx Nate...
I went ahead and Ordered some Show Size base rock from Oceanproaquatics.com so hopefully that looks good as well... Never can have too much rock... I know with the tank it should very quickly cover in coralline and look nice... I am planning on using the Base rock as a Base structure and build the scape on top of that since they are show size pieces... Only was able to get 53lbs for now due to the shipping cost.. It should hopefully be here Friday or monday So I will have pictures as soon as It comes in as well as my thoughts..

Well I got my Shipment of Buna Branch base rock from OceanproAquatics.com today and I was Very happy with the Rock.. There was one thing that bothered me but I am going to call and talk to them about it...
Only bad was that when they packaged the rock they did it directly inside of Styrofoam and I had Styrofoam pieces everywhere from small to large from the Rock rubbing against the styrofoam from their location to mine... Yes there was a mess of little tiny Styrofoam balls everywhere... Other than that for base rock it looked real good... There is a few LFS that have live rock look worse than this base rock... And for this stuff $2.15lb shipped it was definetly worth it..

Hey James,
Can you post some pics of that rock... as I am also going to be needing some more rock and will probably get mostly base rock and maybe a few larger pieces from one of the LFS that isn't base and then add my already corralline covered on top...
thanks,
Jenni

Enjoy the pics... BTW this is only 1/4 of what I got..

Thanks... awesome awesome stuff... that is exactly what I want!!! I love that kind of rock the best, all the knobs and holes, it looks like the marshall I already have except I like the extreme knobbiness of that even better... how much was shipping? I will definitely want to ordersome so lets coordinate and split the shipping.. anyone else want to order and save??? I am so itching to get this 80 going I can hardly stand it!!!

LOL.. Well I think s/h was only 23.00 for UPS ground shipping (3 days)... Best to Order it on a Monday... Give me a few days to get this stuff in the system and aquascaped and I should know If I need any more and about how much... It was 1.89lb plus shipping... I think I might be able to use another 60lbs but who knows until I get this stuff in the tank..

Ok here is a few more pieces... I went thru and spread it out for Aquascaping purposes... There is supposed to be a total of 53lbs here...
BTW I could maybe used about 25-40lbs more... But well see.. LOL Now that I got one side Aquascaped somewhat I think all I need is a few more pieces in the middle.. Pics in another thread of the Aquascape..
